Supper at Misato followed by Desserts at Icebergs

I must've chosen Japanese restaurants half the time my friends & I dined out when I was last in Manila. I would have loved to go to Little Tokyo / Shinjuku Ramen House in Makati if (1) I wasn't driving & if (2) it didn't take almost forever to bustle with traffic.

But Misato was perfect for tonight. Besides, it was for supper. We've all had dinner previously & were just catching up on [a lot]. We barely noticed how long it took until they served our orders (California Maki -mango, cucumber, shrimp roe, crabstick, mayonnaise; P205; Green Maki -salmon, parsley, cucumber, nori; P215; I forgot what Bambi's ramen was called). I keep hearing that their service is slow but I don't think I've experienced the worst of it.

Actually, I remember that the first time I ever ate here, the service was quick as lightning! I was with a bunch of people plus KC Concepcion, so... I guess that explains it somehow. Haha... Nonetheless, the food then was good too. They seem to be pretty consistent / at least in the times I've eaten here.

Desserts at Icebergs was fun! I recommend their Caramel Flan con Hielo (Leche Flan with Mangoes; Vanilla Ice Cream; Bananas; Caramel Syrup; & sorry I don't know what to call that round, white, Filipino delicacy... something in the family of Nata de Coco). I've liked flan since I can recall & eating it with a variety adds more excitement to it!

My friends are such great companions & I appreciate our interesting conversations about [our] lives & not shallow babbles about others which at most times I find useless.
