It's only the 3rd of February but my facebook News Feed has already been flooding with Hearts Day related posts.
For those in Manila planning to dine out but are too busy to take a trip away from the city... Galileo Enoteca may as well be in your better options. Its clandestine Italian ambiance is conducive for a wonderful date, gatherings / reunions, a family get together, or even if you simply want to relax with a book on hand. Whoever said that Valentine's Day is only for couples anyway?
Placed delicately in the cellars, their wines come from 20 regions of Italy. I personally like the Lambrusco as it's one I could match easily. It's considerably lower key than that of Champagne, with very little - zero alcohol content -at least that's how it feels to me. And I'm amused with the way a faint ring of white around the edges sets in the glass upon a pour.
If you aren’t very fond of wines, Galileo also offers other beverages. Hot tea and the likes actually go well with a combination of Italian risotto, pasta, bread, and /or cold cuts.
And since cheese is something that I reckon I would have on almost any occasion, I have to mention how this place is mounting with an array of delicate cheeses, which could also be great with special cured meats. Then you could finish up with their chocolate panacotta, because that is awesome too.
