"Honorable Third Wheel" for the Day

See, I don't even have to turn the T.V. on, the sugar around here is more than a handful. It's fascinating... to watch (in real life)... two people growing, praying, learning together; showing acceptance; encouraging; putting up with differences; etc. And it's inspiring to be surrounded by such; in a common crowd where many give up easily, but also where the brave ones stand out.

What an honor knowing these two, alongside having this friendship with Vanni (for years now)... One of the sweetest ladies ever... I don't remember anyone else writing me a nice letter on the bedside chair [while] I'm actually asleep... And doing stuff like, snail-mailing me developed photographs of faces I don't want to see... Hahaha...
Yea, she's soft spoken, it's adorable. But, she's not like that all the time! When I was last at her place, we were dancing for about an hour with the bed as our stage, waving tissue papers & other accessible props... I think people would pay to see her in that state. Told ya, I'm so privileged. :))

On a serious note, I love her honesty; how we can just say it as is, & often candidly so... Not a lot of people can take frankness well. (But there's not much time to go in circles you know...) I've always been drawn to those who are "very real". I mean, everyone's different, it's interesting that way. And I have a good variety of friends. But there's only so few I choose to trust with core happenings of my life --she's one of them.

Haha, so many of these kinds of "Facts" on Marco's iPad... Like:

- Did you know that when a male penguin falls in love with a female penguin, he searches the entire beach to find the perfect pebble to present to her? And when he finally finds it, he waddles over to her & places the pebble right in front of her feet. (Aww...)

- 5 Deadly Terms Used by a Woman (Nyihiii. Click Photo to Enlarge... OK, I guesss, this is quite factual too.)

She showed me her engagement ring, at a crazy time... our friends were hanging out, talking nonstop. I think I was singing (my composition of spontaneous meant-to-be-funny songs that I perform live to my friends in vibrato --as they cringe.:)) Anyway, I calmed down, because it was time to do so. Then explained a certain meaning of the ring, that was for her and Marco...

Vanni and I've talked about grace repeatedly. And in that moment, it dawned upon us again... How God keeps giving it generously... making it possible for us to go on, no matter what... After our talk about her story, I noticed the ring again, "This is somewhat how I want it... (Pointing top part) That's my husband, (then below) that's me, & of course, God in the center. I'm terrible on my own. That's the only way it could work. And I've seen it happen. So I love this on your finger, an assuring reminder... It will work beyond amazing for you guys."

Today, I had the honorable third wheel title... Food tasting (K. by Cunanan), also an afternoon
attempting to define "rustic theme" and other pre-wedding notes to a non-womanly mind... *v*
